- <p><b><i>Paracypridea connectens</i> Krömmelbein & Weber, 1971</b></p><p>Fig. 10, 11a–c</p><p>1971 <i>Paracypridea connectens</i> n. sp. —Krömmelbein & Weber, p. 30–31, pl. 5, fig. 19.</p><p><b>Diagnosis</b>: A medium- to large-sized species of <i>Paracypridea</i> (carapace length between 1.4 and 1.5mm), standing morphologically more or less between <i>P. elegans</i> and <i>P. langdoni.</i> Posterior margin of the (larger) right valve rounded off diagonally; posterior margin of the (smaller) left valve vertically truncated in the middle section, in the upper and lower sections reaching to the margin of the right valve or even protruding slightly beyond it.</p><p><b>Holotype:</b> Carapace, BfB 7791.</p><p><b>Paratypes:</b> Not deposited.</p><p><b>Dimensions:</b> Holotype, length 1.46mm, height 0.80mm, width 0.68mm.</p>
