- <p><b><i>Trieces wascia</i> Gauld & Sithole, 2002</b></p><p>(Fig. 27)</p><p><b>Diagnosis.</b> This species has the lateromedian longitudinal carinae on the propodeum posteriorly divergent, malar space and lower part of gena yellowish, lower part of the metapleuron bearing a few longitudinal rugae, and the epicnemial carina joining the pleural margin closer to the subalar prominence (Gauld, <i>et al</i>., 2002).</p><p><b>Remarks.</b> Variations were not found in the color and structure patterns of the species comparing with the paratypes.</p><p><b>Distribution.</b> Brazil, Costa Rica. The specimens were collected in Brazilian savannah (São Carlos, State of São Paulo).</p><p><b>Biology.</b> Unknown.</p><p><b>Material examined</b>. <b>(BMNH)</b> Paratypes, 7 ♀, Costa Rica, Guanacaste National Park, Estacion Maritza, 560 m, iv–xi.1988, i-1989, Gauld & Mitchell colls.
