  • <p><b><i>Cecropis daurica</i> (Laxmann, 1769)</b></p><p>(Figs 22; 23).</p><p>LITERATURE. — Green & Sayer (1979); Thonnérieux <i>et al.</i> (1989); Dowsett (1993); Borrow & Demey (2001, 2014); Portier (2002c); Balanca <i>et al.</i> (2007); Pavia <i>et al.</i> (2012); Dowsett <i>et al.</i> (2013).</p><p>FIELD DATA. — GBIF.</p><p>MUSEUM MATERIAL. — USNM 533788.</p><p>STATUS. — Two subspecies present: <i>C. d. domicella</i> (Heuglin, 1869), Resident, and <i>C. d. rufula</i> (Temminck, 1835), Palaearctic migrant.</p><p>REMARKS. — Most of the authors refer to the species as a whole. According to Borrow & Demey (2014) and Pavia <i>et al.</i> (2012) in Burkina Faso the species is present with both the Resident African <i>C. d. domicella</i> and the Palaearctic migrant <i>C. d. rufula</i>, as documented here (Figs 22, 23).</p>
