Holotype by original designation. Labels. Mandraka / Pauliani Risbec / Rempart de/ Bélouve La Reunion; MNHNP; Holotypus. [holotype ♀].</p><p>Remarks. This species was described from material from Réunion identified by Risbec (1957) as <i>Mandraka pauliani</i> (not the type material of <i>M. pauliani</i> Risbec, 1953 q. v. which is from Madagascar). The holotype of <i>Leptacis risbeci</i> bears Masner’s holotype label, and Risbec’s identification as <i>Mandraka pauliani</i>. It is dry-mounted on a microscope slide, has the head disarticulated but is otherwise entire, and has the cover slip ringed with a soft clear resin.</p>
