Hist., ser. 8, 4:390.</p><p>TYPE LOCALITY: "Ta-tsien-lou, province of Se-tchouen (China Occidental) at an altitude of 2454 meters" [= Kangding, Sichuan Sheng, 30°07'N, 102°02'E).</p><p>DISTRIBUTION: S China in Sichuan and Yunnan, and adjacent parts of Burma and N Vietnam.</p><p>SYNONYMS: <i>cuttingi,fulvescens.</i></p><p>COMMENTS: Two subspecies, <i>fulvescens</i> and <i>cuttingi,</i> have been described; see Corbet (1988:127).</p>
