- <p>This dataset contains moderate spatial resolution annual burned area records over the Mau Forest Reserve in Kenya. The dataset was derived from VIIRS Active Fire Detections (AFDs) and Landsat 7 & 8 Atmospherically Corrected Surface Reflectance, applying the ST-DBSCAN (Spatio-Temporal Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise) algorithm and the differenced Normalized Burn Ratio (dNBR) for burned area identification.</p> <p>Please consider that the dataset is still subject to revision to address inaccuracies associated with the spatial extent of derived burned areas.</p> <p>Further documentation and related resources can be found at: https://github.com/StefMeh/Burned-Area-Estimation.git</p>
