| contents | In this survey, we have attempted to show some developmental milestones on the characterizations of intersection graphs of hypergraphs. The theory of intersection graphs of hypergraphs has been a classical topic in the theory of special graphs. To conclude, at the end, we have listed some open problems posed by various authors whose work has contributed to this survey and also the new trends coming out of intersection graphs. Keywords: Hypergraphs, Intersection graphs, Line graphs, Representative graphs, Derived graphs, Algorithms (ALG), Forbidden induced subgraphs (FIS), Krausz partitions, Eigenvalues. |
