| contents | The dispersion relation of vertically oscillating fluid surfaces has been a subject extensively studied in the past, as well as surface instabilities produced by electrohydrodynamic (EHD) waves in similar configurations. In the present work it is studied the unification of both effects and its consequences to the instability of the surface. Given the versatility of the electromagnetic fields, a possible application to the phenomenon of walking droplets is suggested. |
