contents Weiss' and Monneau's type quasi-monotonicity formulas are established for quadratic energies having matrix of coefficients which are Dini, double-Dini continuity, respectively. Free boundary regularity for the corresponding classical obstacle problems under Hölder continuity assumptions is then deduced.
