| contents | We present a new family of IR dualities in three space-time dimensions with eight supercharges. In contrast to 3d mirror symmetry, these dualities map Coulomb branches to Coulomb branches and Higgs branches to Higgs branches in the deep IR. For a large class of quiver gauge theories with an emergent Coulomb branch global symmetry, one can construct a sequence of such dualities by step-wise implementing a set of quiver mutations. The duality sequence gives a set of quiver gauge theories which flow to the same IR fixed point - a phenomenon we refer to as IR N-ality. We show that this set of N-al quivers always contains a theory for which the rank of the IR Coulomb branch symmetry is manifest in the UV. For a special subclass of theories, the emergent symmetry algebra itself can be read off from the quiver description of the aforementioned theory. |
