contents We present an extra condition by which the size of the uncertainty associated with the diagonal elements in the quark mixing matrix can be further constrained when the matrix is parameterized by a combination of three mixing angles and a Dirac phase. Then we discuss how the correlations among the uncertainties of the diagonal emenets can be used when we address issues such as the tension in the first row and the column of the matrix and discuss its implications.
