contents To understand the relationship between the chirality of individual cells and that of tissues and organisms, we have developed a chiral polarized particle model to investigate the movement of cell populations on substrates. Our model analysis indicates that cells with the same chirality can form distinct chiral patterns on ring-shaped or rectangular substrates. Our model analysis also reveals the importance of coordination between boundary features and individual cellular chirality in regulating the movement of cell populations. This work provides valuable insights into comprehending the intricate connection between the chirality of single cells and that of tissues and organisms.
