contents These days, there are many ways to watch streaming videos on television. When compared to a standalone smart television, streaming devices such as Roku and Amazon Fire Stick have a plethora of app selections. While these devices are platform agnostic and compatible with smartphones, they can still leave behind crumbs of sensitive data that can cause privacy, security, and forensic issues. In this paper, the authors conduct an experiment with streaming devices to ascertain digital footprints from network traffic and mobile forensics that they leave behind.
