contents We present new families of solutions of D-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell theory depending on one variable for all space-time signatures. The solutions found can be thought of as generalized Melvin solutions including fluxtubes, domain walls and cosmological space-times. Explicit examples are given in four and five space-time dimensions.
