contents The rapid growth of quantum computing in the last few years has led many countries to make relevant public investments in that field. However, Colombia lacks any investment or legislation in this area. Most previous studies have focused on other countries, contributing to the region's significant lag. In this paper, we propose efforts to include quantum computing as a fundamental pillar of Colombia's development plan. In this research we involved three stakeholders: academia (Universidad Nacional de Colombia), industry (Alianza Team), and government (Vice Ministry of Digital Transformation). We anticipate that our work will provide a connection between all stakeholders involved in public investments in quantum technology in the country and will facilitate its legislation.
