contents Yttrium iron garnet (Y3Fe5O12, YIG) plays a significant role in the field of spintronics due to its low magnetic damping and insulating characteristics. However, most studies have focused on YIG in bulk form or as film grown on rigid substrates. In this study, YIG film has been exfoliated from two-layer-graphene covered (111) Gd3Ga5O12 (GGG) substrate. Magnetic properties of YIG film under stress are investigated in detail via angular dependent ferromagnetic resonance. The relationship between magnetic parameters and compressive/tensile stress has been established. The findings of this work will be beneficial for the applications of flexible YIG film.
