| contents | In this report we discuss the definition of the polarized cross sections of the inclusive $W^+W^-$ production at the LHC. Results at the level of next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD+EW accuracy, published in our recent paper, are presented to highlight the effects of bottom-quark induced processes. Compared to the unpolarized case, the bottom-induced effects after the subtraction of the on-shell top-quark contribution are more sizable for the doubly-longitudinal polarization. |
