contents Let $X$ be a topological space equipped with a basis. We prove that, for every $\infty$-category $\mathcal{C}$ with limits, the restriction functor from $\mathcal{C}$-valued hypersheaves on $X$ to basic hypersheaves is an equivalence of $\infty$-categories.
