contents We investigate the problem of quantum heat transport, based on the quadratic fermionic systems with help of the Peschel trick of single-particle correlation functions. The efficient numerical method is applied to the particular case of a single mode heat valve and the results are compared to analytical formulae. Comparing several configurations and parameters we perform the systematic analysis of the method to most efficiently and accurately describe the simple quantum heat valve system.
