contents The analytical model of a glass-forming system is formulated within the formalism analogous to gauge theory constructions in quantum field theory. This work explores the scope of the proposed approach and investigates the equilibrium behavior of the model under the mean-field approximation. The analysis reveals three possible equilibrium scenarios, only one of which exhibits strong glass-forming ability. Additionally, an upper limit for the initial temperature is identified, beyond which quenching into the glassy state becomes impossible.
