| contents | We study the inverse problem of locating point sources from far-field data under plane wave incidence. A direct computational method is developed based on multiple scattering theory, using a novel indicator function to avoid iterative solving. The approach is efficient, noise-stable, and capable of resolving closely spaced or multiple sources. Numerical results validate its accuracy and robustness in various configurations. This work provides a practical computational tool for wave-based imaging and non-destructive evaluation. |
