contents We propose a novel low-complexity receiver design for multicarrier continuous aperture array (CAPA) systems operating over doubly-dispersive (DD) channels. The receiver leverages a Gaussian Belief Propagation (GaBP)-based framework that hinges only on element-wise scalar operations for the detection of the transmitted symbols. Simulation results for the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS), and affine frequency division multiplexing (AFDM) waveforms demonstrate significant performance improvements in terms of uncoded bit error rate (BER) compared to conventional discrete antenna array systems, while maintaining very low computational complexity.
