Novel and exciting features of each of the nineteen institutions visited during the "fly-in" were noted. A brief summary of the unique architectural features and facilities in each institution is given, some highlights being high-rise facilities, a specialized auditorium with modeling ramps, computer equipment, flexible facilities, an exposed concrete interior, brick construction, honeycomb design, study carrels distributed throughout corridors, an airwell, a courtyard-effect lounge, a converted department store college, an automatic library system, an open library community service center, and rooftop recreational spaces.
