Agency Role Annual Reports Data Collection Educational Research Information Dissemination Program Descriptions Program Development Research Coordinating Units Research Needs Research Projects Research Utilization Staff Utilization Vocational Education The Arizona Research Coordinating Unit has concentrated its efforts during the past 18 months on a study of engineering technology which was published in March of 1968. A second major project is a study of vocational-technical education in the state to be used as a basis for future planning. Other activities included assistance with several research projects in junior colleges and high schools, assistance in research design, and proposal writing, collection and dissemination of research materials, development of a system of identifying research needs and priorities through a State Coordinating Council, and assisting the State Department of Vocational Education in setting up and operating an automatic data processing system for student enrollment, follow-ups, and program information.
