  • Casper College: An Institutional Profile, 1967-1968, and Supplement, July 1, 1968 to December 1, 1968. Accreditation (Institutions) Institutional Research School Surveys Two Year Colleges This accreditation survey of Casper College reports: (1) history of the college, (2) institutional philosophy, (3) financial resources, (4) administration and organization, (5) faculty resources, (6) curriculum, (7) library resources, (8) student personnel practices, (9) characteristics of the college's students, (10) community services, (11) plant and equipment resources. Results of the year-long self-study produced an academic dialog that precipitated some internal changes, realigned thinking, and added perspective to the planning of day-to-day operation. The primary weakness of the college was reported as general underfinancing, attributed to a lack of urban growth, which would ordinarily increase assessed valuation to keep pace with institutional fiscal demands.
