Statistics for college and university libraries including enrollment, faculty, expenditures, book stock, and professional and non-professional staff are given. Statistics for public libraries including population served, expenditures, book stock, and professional personnel, are also given. A selected bibliography on additional sources of background data for the Project is appended. (CC) |
