Planning State Legislation State Standards Two Year Colleges The set of standards contained in this bulletin was approved by the Maryland State Board of Education in March 1969. The standards were designed to implement provisions of certain sections of laws relating to the establishment and operation of the state's 2-year colleges. The bulletin also contains paragraphs on definition of terms, purposes and objectives, admissions, faculty, instruction, curriculum, library, laboratories, graduation, catalog and announcements, student welfare and activities, administration, finances, buildings and grounds, board of trustees, campus climate, and the accreditation schedule.
