Part 1 contains material on the aims and objectives of education, the teaching-learning process, curriculum, and current educational trends. Part 2 relates the Part 1 subjects to local Toronto conditions. Site sizes, student populations per school, square footage standards by activity, and maximum cost standards are outlined. Part 3 lists user requirements for the various areas of an elementary school. These requirements are given as specific standards related to room usage and the environmental requirements of users engaged in specific activities in those rooms. (NI)
