Planning and implementation of the program are considered. A section on the development of curriculum materials gives specific suggestions for learning activities during snack and lunch time and methods for learning concepts such as "round," understanding opposites like fast and slow, using conjunctions, and playing with alphabet blocks or picture lotto games. To enrich the children's home environments, a mobile instructional library is used for home visits. The school functions as a demonstration center, and methods of observation and available information materials are explained. A resume of the testing and data collection describes in detail the use of pre- and posttests, rating scales, observations, and inventories.
