Suggestions are made for the location and size of the library. Also included are considerations for library acoustics, heating and interior finish. It is considered to be of critical importance that adequate and separate space should be provided for reading, work, conference rooms, the librarian's office, and book stacks and storage. Some specific recommendations are made for elementary and junior high school libraries. A table of specifications is included. (GM)
