Areas covered include the concept of such centers, their relationship with the school library, and the personnel, equipment, materials, and production facilities required. Existing library programs are reviewed and implementation of media programs is discussed. Inservice teacher education in the use of media is also treated, as are the role of the small IMC in diffusing educational innovations and the purpose of educational media in the learning process.
