Each volume consists of accounts of the proceedings of selected study-conferences and collections of special papers and monographs. Twenty numbers are published each year covering the development of further education, college and industrial relationships, the relationships with other branches of education, developments in particular subjects and college administration and management. The aim of this particular conference was to provide librarians with an opportunity to consider the developing roles of libraries within the context of college objectives. Papers given include: (1) The Tutor Librarian, (2) The Library as the College Communication Centre, (3) College and Public Libraries, (4) The College Library and Resources, and (5) College Libraries in the Future. A short bibliography and a list of the college's previous publications are appended. (Author/NH) |
