College Libraries Conference Reports Library Instruction Library Services Library Skills Library programs at U.C. Berkeley, San Jose State College and U.C.L.A. are presented together with an introduction by Associate Professor Harlan, U.C. School of Librarianship. At U.C. Berkeley the experimental program has involved twenty-two librarian-instructors and has reached 825 students. At San Jose, a "team teaching" approach involving the library and librarians was utilized. At U.C.L.A., systematized instruction in library use was provided to fifty Black and fifty Chicano students who lacked normal college entrance requirements but who showed strong academic potential. A second experimental program provided assistance for a course initiated, organized and conducted by students under faculty supervision. The third involved a tour of the library by students who were given instruction in library use. A brief listing of audio-visual material presented at the Conference is given, along with a partial attendance list. (AB)
