The major recommendation is the creation of a bibliographic service center at the State Library for all libraries within the State. This center would encourage the interchange of information concerning holdings-in-depth of current research interests between institutions of the State and with other bibliographical centers. It would also clear interlibrary loan requests for material not held in the State and forward these directly to the nearest owner. (MF) |
