Annotated Bibliographies Educational Research Indexes Material Development Resource Materials Vocational Education A total of 579 bibliographies, compilations of abstracts, order lists, periodical indexes, reproductions of library catalog cards, books, newspaper and journal articles, government and research documents, microforms, films, and filmstrips made available since 1960 were compiled as a resource guide for vocational educators. The materials were gathered from literary sources, 25 libraries which serve large teacher-training programs, 50 large industrial corporations, the research coordinating unit or state library in each state, and over 100 professional associations related to vocational education or specific occupations. The resources are organized according to 22 general and 252 specific headings, and each entry under the specific heading is listed alphabetically by author. In addition, each entry includes a cumulative entry number, author, title, publication information, pagination, a descriptive and occasionally evaluative annotation, and availability information. An introductory section describes how to use this publication, and subject and author-agency indexes are included. (SB) |
