The major part of the report explores current trends in library instruction techniques: computer-assisted instruction in reference courses, the computer-based laboratory of the Syracuse Library Education Experimental project, team teaching, the case study method for reference and library management courses, simulation and role-playing, group dynamics, the systems approach, independent study, off-campus practice, problem-oriented curricula, free university courses, and a mobile library program.
