A short and simplified introduction to these reports, which are published under the title "Classification and Information Control," is provided for students and others with a general interest in the progress of subject analysis for information handling purposes. The topics covered include general and special classification information control, ordering of entities, analysis of systems and problems, and prospects. A bibliography of 33 references is included.
