One objective of the project is to promote interlibrary cooperation and coordination. Information is provided in the following areas on public schools in the state: (1) school districts listed alphabetically; (2) enrollment given for each senior and junior high school, elementary enrollment is given as a total for the district; (3) approximate grades, grade level groupings are widely dissimilar; (4) head librarian; (5) librarians, number given in full-time equivalents; (6) audiovisual personnel; (7) total volumes; (8) periodicals, number of current subscriptions; (9) number of eight-millimeter films; (10) number of film strips; (11) number of phonograph records; (12) number of magnetic tapes; (13) number of microfilm reels; (14) book expenditures for the school year; (15) audiovisual materials expenditures and (16) total expenditures. For the nonpublic schools, senior and junior high schools are listed and a summary of elementary schools is provided at the end. Information is provided in columns identical to the above. (Author/NH)
