It discusses the purpose and objectives of a workshop, basic planning steps, and the personnel needed for the workshop. The second part, "Group Leader's Guide" contains discussions of teaching adults, working with groups and using successful techniques. Planning a single session and a bibliography for background reading are also included. Part three contains sample materials such as: sample programs, sample forms, and sample kit of materials. This guide is based on the experience of leaders of church and synagogue library workshops both large and small.
