Stenstron's "Cooperation Between Types of Libraries: 1940-1968." Chciago, American Library Association, 1970. The two requirements for inclusion are that the article or monograph deal with cooperation involving more than one type of library, and the program description be in operation. The traditional typology of libraries -- public academic-research, school, and special -- is used. Cooperative programs involving these four types of libraries in various combinations are identified and described. Brief annotations following the citations describe the nature of libraries involved. The annotated entries are numbered and arranged chronologically to facilitate direct access to the most recent developments. In addition, there is an author/ project/ organization index, and a type of library cooperation index. (MM)
