The first section lists the name, address, telephone, and subject areas of quasi-public and private firms that produce materials concerned with various aspects of community development. The materials, which are generally low cost or free, include newsletters, publications lists, and various types of manuals and literature. A listing of the names, addresses, and telephone numbers, as well as subject areas of Federal Government Agencies comprises the second section. The General Reference Information section presents sources and materials concerned with community development. The section on Developing a Community Development Library contains a Guide to Organizing Materials and a List of Suggested Subject Headings and Forms.
