Carlos Cuadra gave the keynote address "Library Automation and Networks" which stresses the potential application of automated information systems to library networks. Henriette Avram discussed the MARC Project in her talk, "The National Scene." The New England Library Information Network (NELINET) was the topic of two speakers: Sam Goldstein's "NELINET -- A Regional Network as Seen by the Project Director" and "NELINET -- A Regional Network as Seen by a Participant" by Donald E. Vincent. Robert S. Taylor considered library networks from "The College Point of View." A brief discussion session among the participants is included. (SJ)
