contents Library School Student Associations: A Profile. Eggleton, Richard Burke Group Activities Group Dynamics Group Structure Library Associations Library Schools Questionnaires Student Organizations A search of the literature of librarianship reveals that very little has been written concerning library school student associations. Two questionnaires were designed; one to be sent to the deans or directors of American Library Association accredited library schools; one to be sent to the presidents of student associations at American Library Association accredited library schools. Each questionnaire contained questions which were identical, and questions that would be answered only by the group receiving it. The questions explored three broad categories in relation to library school student associations--(1) structure, (2) activities, and (3) relationships. The report is presented using each of these categories as a chapter; questions are presented, results noted and analysed. A summary section presents a composite picture of the present situation of library school student associations. (Author)
