- A Design for Library Services for the Rough Rock Community. Adults American Indians Demonstration Centers Design Elementary School Students Information Needs Information Sources Library Services Models Secondary School Students Students Following the introduction, Chapter I provides: (1) a summary description of the National Indian Education Association (NIEA) Library Project, (2) a description of the Rough Rock Community, and (3) the organization of this study. Chapter II presents a detailed design of the project and describes the goals and objectives of the study, development of study procedures, development of instruments, and the collection and analysis of data. Chapter III describes the results of the questionnaires and inventories administered to the Rough Rock community to identify informational needs of elementary and secondary students, their teachers, and adults, as well as the availability of existing informational resources. Chapter IV proposes a model informational demonstration center for the Rough Rock community. This model will include administrative and organizational components, financial support, plant facilities, and materials and delivery systems required.
