Educational Improvement Educational Opportunities Educational Planning Higher Education Institutional Cooperation International Education Regional Planning Statewide Planning Over the past several years the universities of Ontario have made a gigantic effort under the direction of the Committee of Presidents of Universities of Ontario to provide quality higher education for all qualified students. Inter institutional cooperation and coordination has been a must in this effort, and maximum utilization of available resources has been an absolute necessity. This document describes the achievements of the Ontario universities and presents a discussion of some of the problems and proposals to solve these problems. Cooperative activities among the universities include shared library services, shared computer services, applicant counseling, student housing and student financing. (HS)
