The organization and implementation of the program are discussed in detail, including goals of the program; placement of students at appropriate levels; general format of each LAP; grading procedures; administrative decisions concerning staffing, work loads, and utilization of classroom and library space; problems encountered with students and with teachers; and financing of the project.
