Evaluation Library Planning Library Services Objectives State Libraries State Programs Statewide Planning The purposes of this document which is the 1972 version of the long-range plan for library development are: to identify the broad goals of library service; to delineate specific objectives which will be involved in reaching those goals; to assess the existing situation with regard to both objectives and goals; to determine what procedures, projects and programs should be implemented; to assess the effectiveness of such steps; and, to propose evaluation techniques.
