The research and development culminated in the successful implementation of an on-line union catalog and shared cataloging system. The final report of the project is LI 004 422. This document appendix twenty-eight, The Ohio College Library Center Program/Subroutine Documentation. Build Print Tape (BPT). BPT is the last step in the formatting of catalog cards. BPT has as input, the formatted records from the Catalog Card Format Program. The out-put from BPT is a tape of line images ready for printing. The primary function of BPT is to format each input record from CCFP into line images to be printed two across on the card stock. The first half of the run being printed on the left side, and the second half being printed on the right side. Secondary functions of BPT include setting up for pack divider cards, and setting up the accounting and billing information. (Other appendices are LI 004 423 through LI 004 427.) (Author/SJ)
