The following presentations were made under the general heading "Changing Technology: Machine-Readable Data Bases": Introduction, Computer-readable data bases: library processing and use, Libraries, Librarians and Computerized Data Bases, The Northeast Academic Science Information Center, Future Possibilities for Large-Scale Data Base Use, and Information for Contemporary Times. Other presentations were made on: the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science, the Management Review and Analysis Program, the Role and Objectives of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) as a Agent for Change, the Changing Role of the University Library Director, American Libraries from a European Angle, and the National Commission on Financing Postsecondary Education.
