The first section is a discussion of the significant findings of the studies cited, with an evaluation of the implication for the library profession. The second section consists of annotated bibliographic citations on studies in the following four subject areas: (1) Bibliographies of Research, (2) Research on School Libraries, (3) Research on Public Libraries, and (4) Research on Personnel in Libraries Serving Children.
